Terms of Service

1. What this is

Previewcard is a URL inspection tool. It fetches a URL you provide, reads the Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags, resolves the og:image URL, fetches the image, and reports its dimensions. The result is displayed in your browser and is not stored anywhere.

2. Use of the service

You may use Previewcard to inspect any URL that you have the right to access. You agree not to use the service to:

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
• Send excessive requests intended to disrupt the service or its backend.
• Inspect URLs that you know contain illegal or harmful content.

3. No accounts or data storage

Previewcard does not offer accounts, registration, or login. It does not store the URLs you check, the pages it fetches, or the results it produces. Every request is independent and the result is discarded when your browser tab is closed.

4. No payment processing

The checkout form on the pricing page is a demonstration only. No real payment is taken. The Pro plan features are not yet available and cannot be purchased. No payment information is transmitted or stored.

5. Billing

Pro plan subscription. The Pro plan is a monthly subscription at $9 per month (or the price stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase). A subscription grants access to the Pro features listed on the pricing page for the duration of the billing period.

Payment processor. Payments are not yet processed through this site. No payment processor has been connected. The checkout form on the pricing page is a demonstration only. The terms in this section describe the intended billing terms that will apply once a payment processor is connected and the Pro plan is available for purchase.

Failed payments. If a recurring payment fails, the charge will be retried automatically. After multiple consecutive failed attempts, access to Pro features will be suspended until the payment succeeds. The subscription will not be cancelled automatically.

Refunds. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel a subscription, Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made.

6. Intellectual property

The Previewcard name, logo, and website design are the property of the operator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Previewcard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The tool may produce incorrect results if the target page is unreachable, returns an error, or has malformed HTML. The tool does not guarantee that the rendered preview matches what any social platform will display, because platforms may change their rendering behaviour, apply different fallback logic, or cache older versions of the page.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to publishing a link that renders incorrectly after using Previewcard.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified when a legal entity is registered. Until then, no governing law is claimed.

11. Contact

A contact method will be provided when a legal entity is registered. There is currently no mailbox, email address, or postal address associated with this product.
